Rev. Dr. Awad, a Palestinian, is a long-time champion for justice for Palestinians. Born and raised in Jerusalem, Rev. Awad studied internationally before returning to Palestine to teach, do social service, and serve as a minister and missionary with the United Methodist Church in Bethlehem and Jerusalem.
